Project Manager
Location: Remote or Hybrid Edinburgh
Hours: Full time or Part time (>0.5 FTE)
About us
Warmur is on a mission to accelerate home decarbonisation by making it easy for everyone to start that journey today. We help households get the most impactful energy and carbon saving measures for their budgets and circumstances. We’re building an innovative technology platform to help households visualise the effects of whole-home electrification, and help installers to streamline the process from contact with the customer to contract-ready jobs.
Our technologies are designed to take the pain out of the heating installation lifecycle, from decision making, through installation, to ongoing monitoring and support. Our core platform provides tools to make the process easier for both householders and heating engineers, including home energy modelling, customer and installer portals and APIs, and AI support tools tuned to provide practical advice around home heating.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager (PM) to play a pivotal role in scaling an early stage training business that upskills heating engineers. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious PM to work closely with members of the senior leadership team across a range of commercial disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and excellent organisational skills. The role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring the successful launch of the training program.
Background
The UK needs ~60k heat pump installers to meet our net zero targets, but two decades of training neglect has left heating engineers ill equipped to transition their skills and the existing training provision remains inadequate.
We have a premium in-person heating training course which is uniquely successful in upskilling gas installers. The existing training programme creates a fun and memorable learning environment with demonstrably better outcomes than our competitors, but only reaches about 300 installers per year currently.
By embracing the latest technologies, we are building a training programme that can reach 10,000s of heating engineers and fundamentally change not just how they learn, but how they do their jobs.
